2017 China: Research among Bulang in Yunnan and Miao in Guizhou. The fieldwork in Xishuangbanna (Yunnan) was conducted in collaboration with Prof. Zhang Hai (Yunnan University, China).
2011-16 Italy: Research and documentary project about extemporary poets (poeti in ottava rima) in Tuscany, Central Italy, conducted as an independent scholar.
2012 Nigeria/Cameroon: Research and documentary project for CNTV and CBRA Films, about the origin and transformation of cumbia music. The fieldwork was conducted in collaboration with Prof.Meki Nzewi (University of Pretoria, South Africa).
2011 Portugal: Research project of the University of Valladolid (Spain): “Musicas tradicionalesy populares de Zamora y Miranda do Douro: Documentacion, estudio, interpretacion”. Director of the research team: Prof. Enrique Camara (Universidad de Valladolid).
